Features

• • Services now work as a standard dimension junction, giving you more flexibility in how you configure and display them. The legacy services model is available as a fallback when the new services setting is disabled. When enabled, services follow the same rules, pricing, and availability logic as other dimension junctions, and you can add them to the reservation form using the standard dimension junction display settings. See Migrating from Legacy Services to the New Service Dimension Junction for setup guidance.

  • The dimension junction config now supports configurable price, quantity, and total fields, letting you define where pricing calculations read from and write to. This enables pricing logic to work correctly across different junction setups and applies to services, products, add-ons, or any other dimension you track with quantity and cost. See Contextual Price Calculations for details.

  • Reservation type and super type dropdowns on the reservation form are now combined into a single searchable picker, making it faster to find the right type when you have many reservation types. The picker filters both groups and individual types at once as you type. See Reservation Types for more information.

  • Availabilities now support capacity and service lookup fields, making it possible to define per-service capacity limits and resolve the right service availability using dimension-based availability (MDA) instead of the legacy service availability model. See Dimensions, and how to configure them for configuration details.

Bugs

• • Fixed a modal z-index issue where the reservation form could appear behind other components in some calendar layouts. The reservation modal now correctly sits below the system's built-in modal component.

  • Fixed the record type picker in conflict rule creation appearing multiple times in some scenarios. The picker now appears only once when you're configuring record type filters.

Features

• Ranking Rules no longer require a Weight. The rule formula can now return the weight itself, so a single rule can award different scores to different records instead of one fixed value. This makes scoring setups such as skills, contract hours or distance ranking much easier to maintain, and rules that do use a Weight keep working exactly as before.

• You can now set a timezone directly on an Availability record, overriding the timezone of the Dimension it belongs to for that availability window. This gives finer control over setups where resources or staff span multiple timezones. Availabilities without a timezone keep following the Dimension, so nothing changes for existing orgs. See Time Zones.

• You can now export your GoMeddo configuration from one org and import it into another straight from GoMeddo Settings, so moving Calendars, Views, Reservation Types and GoMeddo Rules from a sandbox to production no longer requires the Salesforce CLI. A preflight report shows exactly what will be created or updated before anything is written. See Import and export Configuration.

Bugs

• Calendar invitations attached to GoMeddo confirmation emails are now valid invitations. Recipients are added as attendees and your organisation is set as the organiser, so mail clients such as Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail show a proper invitation with accept and decline options. Later changes to a reservation now update the existing calendar event instead of creating a second one. See Send Emails with ICS Attachments.

• Fixed a bug in the bulk conflict checker where reservations that had been removed from the list to check were still validated. This could lead to incorrect conflict results when saving multiple reservations at once.

• Fixed a timezone discrepancy on LWR Experience Cloud sites, where times were interpreted using the visitor's browser timezone instead of the configured timezone. Reservations and time slots on those sites now show consistent times.

Features

• The Reservation Form now shows the complete, correct list of Super Type values when your organization restricts Super Types differently per Reservation Type record type. Previously only the values tied to your own default record type were shown. See Reservation Types.

• Lookups governed by a Multi-Dimensional Availability now work correctly for dimensions with more than 150 records, by narrowing the candidates using the MDA link before running the availability check.

• Admins can now run the Fix Materialized Path repair directly from within GoMeddo instead of through the Developer Console. The process now runs in batches, so it also completes successfully for orgs with large numbers of Resources. See Fix Materialized Path.

• The GoMeddo Settings page has a new unified navigation menu and an interactive setup guide, helping admins find configuration options faster and track their setup progress.

• Creating a Reservation Blueprint now walks you through a step by step wizard covering type, details, fields, and dimension junctions, instead of a blank Salesforce record page. See Configuring Blueprints for the Frontend Builder.

• New special variables in Conflict Rules can look across time, making it possible to write rules such as requiring reservations in the same room to be spaced at least an hour apart, or limiting how many times a Staff member can be booked for a certain Reservation Type in a week.

• Parent reservations in Parent & Child Reservations can now be made recurring, combining that structure with recurring reservations. Child reservations cannot be made recurring.

• Validation messages can now include merge fields, such as the specific overlapping reservation or resource, so users see exactly what caused a conflict directly in the real-time validation message instead of needing to open the record afterwards.

Bugs

• Fixed week numbers being off by one in calendar views and reports when an org's week is configured to start on Sunday. Week numbers now correctly follow the ISO 8601 standard.

• Google Calendar Sync no longer creates full-day reservations in GoMeddo when a user sets or changes their Working Location in Google Calendar.

• Fixed the Dimension Wizard not being able to link a View to the Vertical Calendar it creates, caused by the wizard looking for Views with an outdated naming prefix.

• Deleting a child reservation from the Reservation Form no longer also deletes its parent reservation.

Features

• The "Send Email with ICS Attachment" flow action now supports recurring reservations, as described in Send Emails with ICS Attachments. When a collection of reservations from the same recurring series is passed in, a single recurring calendar event is generated instead of a separate invite per occurrence, so recipients can accept once and see the full series in their calendar.

• A new admin setting controls how private events are handled during Outlook and Google Calendar sync. You can choose to skip private events entirely, or sync them while stripping their content so the time slot and resource occupancy are preserved without exposing sensitive details.

• Outlook and Google Calendar sync now also picks up events where a synced resource or user is invited but is not the organizer. These come in as read-only reservations, so bookings made outside GoMeddo no longer create blind spots in availability.

• A new Force Sync utility lets you manually trigger a calendar sync for a reservation, even when no mapped field has changed. This removes the need to tweak a field just to push an update to Google Calendar or Outlook.

• A new Calendar setting lets you display week numbers according to the ISO 8601 standard, so week counts stay consistent with that standard even in years where it would otherwise diverge from the calendar's default counting.

• The Time Slot Picker on mobile has been redesigned to be more responsive, as described in Time Slot Picker, making it easier to browse and select time slots on smaller screens.

• A new SDK integration package is available, and can be configured from the GoMeddo Settings page, where you can now manage your API keys.

Bugs

• Fixed a bug where the Time Zone field created by the Dimension Wizard was created without permissions, making it unusable for most users.

• Fixed a permission set issue where the Sync Mapping configuration was missing from the GoMeddo admin permission set, blocking admins from accessing it.

• Fixed a bug where creating a filter rule from the "Fields to Set New" popup showed a blank page layout and prevented the rule from being saved.

• Fixed a bug where the checkbox on the Resource Column in the calendar was difficult to click, since only a small part of the checkbox registered clicks.

• You no longer need to specify the record type twice when creating a rule, removing a redundant step from the setup flow.

• Version 7.0 introduces a conversion to second-generation packaging. To upgrade properly, the path has two steps: first upgrade to 7.0 on first-generation packaging, then upgrade to 7.0 on second-generation packaging. This is purely an internal change so GoMeddo can take advantage of the latest Salesforce packaging capabilities. Customers won't see any impact or changes as a result.

Features

• You can now set default values for Time fields through a Blueprint. Time has been added as a supported type in Configuring Blueprints for the Frontend Builder "Fields to Set", so admins can pre-populate fields like a check-in time or preferred start window without relying on Flows or manual entry.

• New settings are available to improve performance on large calendars, giving smoother loading and interaction when working with high volumes of reservations.

• Wrapping a calendar with a dimension that does not match the calendar's own dimension now throws a clear error, preventing misconfiguration and making setup issues easier to spot and fix.

• The GoMeddo Installer now shows the status of extention packages for Payments, GoTallo, Floorplan, and Subscription extensions, including an upgrade option when a newer bridge version is available  so you no longer need to track and install bridge packages manually

• A new setting lets you treat soft conflicts as hard conflicts in the availability and timeslot APIs, excluding soft-conflicting options from results across REST endpoints, the TimeSlot Picker, and the Frontend Builder without changing your Conflict Rules configuration

• The Google and Outlook calendar sync integrations now ship with standard field mappings (Title, Description, Resource) out of the box, so new orgs can start syncing without manual configuration, see Mapping Google fields | Outlook field mapping

• A new GoMeddo Integration User permission set is included, covering the minimum field access needed for standard endpoints and triggers, preventing permission errors for integration users after package upgrades, see Permission Sets

Bugs

• Fixed a performance degradation in reservation rendering caused by the way reservation text was prepared for screen readers

• Fixed an issue where hiding a required field on the reservation form caused the save button to stop working

• Fixed cross-object parent overrides not being applied correctly during availability checks — prepopulated related records (both lookups and relationship references) are now properly taken into account when evaluating conflict rules

• Fixed the permission sets shipped with GoMeddo core and the Frontend Builder missing access to required Apex classes, which caused "You do not have access" errors when using the booking flow

• Fixed the Scheduler time header for the current hour rendering with a black background, which made the time label unreadable

Features

• You can now configure a separate Interval on a Blueprint to control the spacing between offered timeslots independently of the appointment duration. This makes it possible to offer overlapping start times — for example, a 120-minute appointment every 60 minutes — giving administrators much more flexibility in how timeslots are generated and presented to end users.

• You can now configure basic pricing directly on a Dimension or Dimension Junction by pointing to a price field and calculation method on the record, without writing Apex. Combined with an overhauled custom pricing interface that is fully bulkified and correctly passes through related records, junction records, and child reservations to custom price calculations, pricing logic is now both easier to set up declaratively and more reliable for complex reservation structures.

• The Dimension Wizard now automatically creates the required timezone picklist field when configuring a new dimension for a custom object, removing a manual setup step that was easy to overlook and could cause timezone-related issues with the new dimension.

• Orgs with more than 10,000 services will no longer encounter a failure during package installation or upgrade. The post-install script that marks services as API-visible now gracefully skips this step when the service count exceeds the processing limit.
