Rulesets

Rulesets allow you to specify which Conflict Rules apply to certain reservations. A ruleset is a collection of Conflict Rules that you can apply to a specific group of reservations.

A common use is to apply different rulesets to various types or locations of reservations.

By default, GoMeddo has a default ruleset without a filter, meaning it applies to all reservations.

Example:

If you want certain staff members to be required and available only for the "doctor's appointment" reservation type, you can filter your ruleset for that type and add the necessary rules.

How to set this up:

  1. Go to the Rulesets tab using the App Launcher.

  2. Add a new ruleset called "Doctor's Appointment."

  3. Use the "Add Rule" section in the header to include the Conflict Rules you want to apply, then press "Next."

  4. Then proceed to filtering this Rule by adding a filter rule by opening the filter rule and press new GoMeddo Rule

  5. New Filter Rule

  6. Give the Rule a name

  7. Enter the formula to filter the reservations to which this ruleset should be applied
    B25__Reservation_Type__r.Name =='Reservation'

  8. Save

  9. Now only for reservations of this type, these rules will be applied
